ATracs - Malacca 2014

In conjunction with our Motorsports partner Alpha Performance Drive, proudly sponsored by TBSD - Bardahl Singapore. 30th October 2014 to 1st November 2014.

Thanks to Philea Resort & Spa for having us. Participants not only get to have a go at the track but also indulge in a total retreat at this quiet loft. A great getaway from the hustle & bustle life of Singapore.

Only minutes of drive from the Malacca International Circuit, which will take place on the Second day.

No matter interior or exterior, it promises a comfort relaxation for everyone. Rooms are spacious, toilets comes with bathtub and all the necessities included. How can we leave out the balcony? That's a must have for me.

Only con is that it's not too soundproof. If the next door is being too loud you can conveniently hear each and every word :p

About 3 hours drive from Singapore, most of us were exhausted & had a short nap before gathering at lobby about 430pm. Travelled to Mahkota Parade, where there are a few others shopping centres nearby.

At evening, we strolled to Jonker Walk (10minutes walk from Mahkota Parade) as the other half of the group are there waiting at the famous Chicken Rice restaurant. For myself, I feel that the food is normal, not something to be commendable.

Everything ended at approximately 5pm? Couldn't remember. So we all got back to our resort to wash up/have a rest. Meet up at the lobby at 7.30pm for a presentation and buffet dinner.

Trophies were presented to the winners by Mr Seetoh from Asia Pacific Bardahl.

The presentation ended and some of the participants went home, some back to the resort while a group of us headed to Jonker walk for late night shopping. 

It is pretty much like our night market. There's quite a crowd too. & I realized there are a number of young teenagers working.

Return to our crib of the day and pack up to leave for the next day! :(

Jarius Yeo's First Birthday

Where do I start? Ok the plannings. Most of the decorations are D.I.Y though. Theme I chose is Baby Mickey Mouse which is in Blue, Black & White. Thankfully to Valerie & my maid to help with the cut outs and the picture board. I printed out the ' WELCOME ' with the Mickey font, cut it out & pasted on the heads.

I chose them partly because they do deliveries on Sundays & they have a party package which includes free deliveries.

Featuring the male lead, or female? Funny how they put on the Minnie mouse headband & he did not pull it off.

 His customized Baby Mickey two tiered cake.
I wanted to order it from Cake Avenue (Previously husband got it for my 21st birthday - My Melody Cake, which garnered awesome feedbacks!).
Sadly they doesn't take in Mickey Mouse orders.

I was being frantic & kept googling for good customized cakes and got a recommendation for Hey Cupcakes. Personally went to their shopfront, tasted their cupcakes and decided to place an order with them.

Was a bit disappointed as the fondant tasted weird, like some yucky syrups. The fillings were good though.

Birthday boy was getting cranky when it's time for the cake cutting because he didn't had any naps :( Luckily, we got him seated in the car and he was distracted while we sang the birthday song for him!

Biggest Thank you to each and everyone who turned up for the party, those who specially went to get the thoughtful gifts, those who gave red packets. It's definitely a memorable day! I was afraid it would turn out boring and the decors too dull.

Actually I wanted to add on more stuffs but due to the lazy bones and the hesitation I've gave it a miss :( Well I do have problems making choices and selections.

Many of the things were done almost last minute, like the order of party supplies and party favors ( I got it from Sticky ).

Hopefully everyone had an enjoyable day!
